Description

The VHA 118S is a passive 2500W bass reflex subwoofer from FBT’s Horizon series, designed to deliver powerful and precise low-frequency extension when paired with the VHA passive line array modules. Intended for professional large-scale applications both indoors and outdoors, it is ideal for tours, festivals, arenas, and fixed installations that demand high sound impact and consistent performance.

At its core is an 18″ high-excursion woofer with a 4″ voice coil, capable of delivering an extended frequency response down to 30Hz with excellent control and sound pressure. Designed for use with external amplifiers and DSP processors, the VHA 118S offers a versatile solution for scalable sound systems in both standard and cardioid configurations.

The cabinet is built from rugged 18mm birch plywood with a durable black scratch-resistant coating, ensuring long-term reliability even in demanding environments. The transducer is protected by a powder-coated steel grille with internal acoustic fabric, while the rear panel includes two Neutrik NL4M connectors (In & Link) for easy wiring and integration. When paired with VHA 406 and VHA112 modules, the VHA 118S completes the system by delivering a powerful and balanced full-range response.
