01 — The fixture
The Pixel 18 Matrix Bar is one of the fixtures Las Vegas crews reach for most often. The Pixel 18 features 18x9W RGB LEDs with superb color mixing technology and has multiple DMX channel modes allowing for individual pixel control. The Pixel 18 was designed with multiple uses in mind. Its fan-less design allows for use on tv studio sets as well as corporate functions where silent operation is key. Since it was designed for film and stage use the Pixel 18 is 100% flicker free for smooth color recreation in the studio or when used for live events. The Pixel 18 operates in 3, 5, 7, 9, 15, and 54CH modes giving the versatility to use it as a wall washer, effect light, or as a pixel controlled matrix light.
Nothing gets used harder than event gear in Las Vegas. Shows run six nights a week, ballrooms flip between a convention and a wedding in the same day, and clubs run until sunrise.
